Scattered Hijab

“Scattered Hijab” is a photograph of a Hijab sculpture I created and intentionally scattered into pieces—a gesture bearing witness to the evolutionary leap of the women’s freedom movement in Iran. What is unfolding in Iran, and beyond, marks a decisive crossroads between what was, what is, and what is to become. Time has come for change.
